FATOORA ConnectOVERVIEW
Phase 2 of Saudi Arabia's e-invoicing regulation moves businesses beyond simply generating compliant invoices — it requires those invoices to be integrated with ZATCA's systems. Standard tax invoices must be cleared by ZATCA before being issued to the customer, while simplified invoices must be reported to ZATCA within 24 hours. Every invoice also needs a cryptographic stamp and a unique identifier issued through an onboarded, ZATCA-compliant device.
Webtel's ZATCA integration module manages this layer for you. We handle device onboarding and certificate management, generate the required cryptographic stamps, and connect directly to the FATOORA platform's clearance and reporting APIs — so invoices move from your systems to ZATCA and back automatically, without your team having to manage the technical integration themselves.
CAPABILITIES
We handle cryptographic stamp identifier (CSID) onboarding and renewal, keeping your integration authorized and current with ZATCA.
Standard invoices are cleared before issuance and simplified invoices reported within the required window, automatically.
Every invoice is digitally stamped and assigned a unique identifier as required for Phase 2 compliance.
Rejected or flagged invoices are surfaced immediately with clear reasons, so corrections and resubmission happen fast.
HOW IT WORKS
We complete cryptographic stamp identifier onboarding with ZATCA on your behalf.
Each invoice is cryptographically stamped and assigned a unique hash.
The invoice is sent for clearance or reporting through ZATCA's integration APIs.
Once cleared, the invoice is issued to your customer with its ZATCA response attached.
WHAT'S COVERED
Depending on the invoice type, Phase 2 requires either clearance before issuance or reporting after issuance. Both are handled through the same integration.
B2B tax invoices are submitted to ZATCA and must receive clearance before they can be issued to the customer. The platform submits, waits for the cleared response and only then releases the invoice.
B2C receipts are issued to the customer immediately and reported to ZATCA within the required 24-hour window, with the platform tracking and confirming each submission.
WHY IT MATTERS
We manage the technical connection to FATOORA so your team doesn't have to.
Know instantly whether an invoice was cleared, reported or rejected.
CSID onboarding, renewal and rotation are managed on your behalf.
The integration is built to your applicable wave and updates as ZATCA's rollout evolves.
Validation checks catch issues before submission, not after ZATCA flags them.
Every clearance and reporting response is logged and retrievable for audits.
FAQS
ZATCA notifies each group of taxpayers directly, based on VAT-registered revenue, well ahead of their applicable date. Our team can help confirm your wave and plan the integration timeline around it.
Rejected invoices are flagged immediately with ZATCA's stated reason, so your team can correct and resubmit quickly rather than discovering the issue later during reconciliation.
Integration builds on generation — invoices are still created in the compliant format first, then cleared or reported. If generation isn't already in place, we set both up together.
